WOULD YOU EAT THIS SALAD OF DORITO TACOS?

My family has served Dorito Taco Salad at potlucks for as long as I can remember!

A decent taco salad dish is always a crowd favorite, and this one is no exception! Seasoned

ground beef, fresh chopped lettuce, tomatoes, and, of course, Doritos come together to provide

a fun departure from your usual meal!

Salads, as much as I enjoy them, may become monotonous at times.

This Dorito Taco Salad is a great way to break up the monotony of salads. It’s not only simple to

make, but it’s also delicious!

Everything taco-inspired appeals to me, from spaghetti to casseroles… and especially salads!

This taco salad is great if you have leftover taco meat from another recipe. On hectic

weeknights, I usually double the amount of taco meat and freeze it for extra-quick dinners.

The rest of the ingredients are simple and readily available. My cupboard still has pinto beans

and dry sliced black olives. On the side, I’ve got lettuce, tomatoes, mushrooms, cheese, peppers,

and sour cream.

Of course, don’t forget the Doritos; we enjoy the Nacho Cheese flavor for this taco salad, but

any flavor will do!

THIS SALAD REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING INGREDIENTS:

I diced one huge tomato.

I shredded 4 ounces of 2 percent sharp cheddar cheese before using it.

I smashed 4 ounces of nacho cheese Doritos into bite-sized bits.

A pound of gold.

Ground beef that is lean.

I used one little package of reduced sodium taco seasoning.

We’ll need a medium head of iceberg lettuce, cut into small pieces.

I used a cup of light Catalina/French dressing.

STEPS:

Step 1:

I started browning the ground beef, using a medium skillet, breaking up the bits until they were browned stirring using my wooden spoon for few minutes.

Step 2:

After that, I added the packet of taco seasoning over the cooked meat and continued to stir until well-combined.

Step 3:

Following that, I transferred the chopped lettuce Into a big mixing bowl, and I added in the diced tomatoes, browned ground beef, and cheddar cheese.

Step 4:

Once it was time to eat, I sprinkled the crushed Doritos over the salad, and I poured the French dressing on the top. I mixed all ingredients again and served them.

This Salad can be prepared ahead of time! The secret is to mix everything in a serving bowl and simply toss them with a French dressing before serving. I hope you’ll enjoy it!!
