TACO PIZZA: HOW TO MAKE IT?
Oooh!! Taco Pizza – Easy to make, takes only 30 minutes, and tastes like a taco on a pizza crust!! Ground beef seasoned to perfection, melted cheese, and your choice of toppings!!
Imagine your favorite beef taco fixings in the shape of a pizza, and you’ll have it ready in 30 minutes with this simple Mexican pizza.
Instead of pizza sauce, I put a layer of browned meat across the dough, and the melted cheese complements the taco-seasoned ground beef. Plus, everything is wonderful, so it’s a marriage made in heaven.
The chilly lettuce and tomatoes contrast beautifully with the heated taco-pizza.
Here’s the same list of items I used, but feel free to customize it with your favorite toppings.
YOU’LL NEED THE FOLLOWING TO MAKE OUR TACO-PIZZA VERSION:
Extra-lean ground beef (about 500 grams).
I bought one medium cooked pizza dough that was ready to use.
A cup of shredded Cracker-Barrel cheese
The Less Sodium package of Taco Seasonings was used to make 35 grams of taco seasoning.
I USED THESE INGREDIENTS FOR TOPPING, BUT FEEL FREE TO USE WHATEVER YOU LIKE IN YOUR KITCHEN:
5 taco shells, mashed
Shredded lettuce in a cup
1 medium tomato, peeled and sliced into tiny pieces after removing the seeds.
a third of a cup of salsa
METHOD OF PREPARE:
1st step:
Before I began, I preheated my oven to the appropriate temperature of 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step two:
Then I cooked the beef in a big skillet according to the package specifications, seasoning it with Taco Seasonings, salt, and black pepper.
3rd step:
I put the browned meat over the prepared pizza dough and topped it with a cup of shredded mozzarella at this point.
4th Step:
Then I prepped the plate for baking, and cooked it for about 15 minutes, or until the crust edges were crispy.
5th Step:
When I took it out of the oven, I piled shredded lettuce and diced tomato on top of the melted cheese, then smeared the salsa over everything!!!
