Honey-Glazed Ham in the Slow Cooker

Honey-Glazed Ham in the Slow Cooker

* The following are the ingredients:

1 pound of properly cooked pork (between 4-7 pounds)

a half cup of sugar

a half cup of honey

2 tbsp Dijon mustard or spicy brown mustard

1/4 teaspoon cloves, ground

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup of water

* Directions:

In the slow cooker basin, place the meat.
Over high heat, mix brown sugar, honey, mustard, cloves, garlic, and water in a small saucepan. Heat it until it’s hot enough for the sugar to dissolve. Pour the mixture over the pork, being sure to split the fillets so the ice can pass through.
Cover the slow cooker snugly with the lid, or cover tightly with aluminum foil if the ham is extremely large.
Simmer for 3-4 hours on low heat or 2-3 hours on high heat, or until thoroughly heated.
Preheat the broiler and move the pork to an oven-safe dish. Fill a small saucepan halfway with the cooking liquid. Cook the cooking liquid for 5-7 minutes over medium-high heat, or until it thickens and bubbles. Brush them all over the meat, then let them boil for 4-5 minutes, adding more glaze every minute or two.

Have fun!
