°2 cups potatoes, peeled into cubes
°1-3/4 cups sliced carrots
°1 cup butter, cubed
°2/3 cup chop onion
°1 c flour
°1-3/4 tsp salt
°1 tsp dried thyme
°3/4 tsp pepper
°3 c chicken broth
° 1-1/2 cup milk or half and half
°4 cups cubed cooked chicken
°1 cup frozen peas
°1 cup frozen corn
°2 Double Crust Pie
How to get there:
The oven should be set to 425 degrees. Put the potatoes and carrots in a big pot. Do this for a while. Add water to make it safe. Bring the water to a boil. Reduce the heat; cover and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the vegetables are soft.
Pour some butter into a pan and heat it on medium heat. Adding onions, cooking, and stirring them until they are soft. Add flour and spices until they are mixed together. Putting in some broth and milk. Cook and stir the mixture for 2 minutes, or until it’s thick and a little sticky. Add the chicken, peas, corn, and potato mix. Remove the heat.
On each of the two 9-inch pieces, put pie crust. You should make the rims of your pie plates level. Add the chicken mix. It’s time to finish pie crust. Trim and seal the flute. Cut holes at the tops.
Bake for about 35 to 40 minutes, or until the crust is a little brown and crispy. Before cutting it, let it sit for 15 minutes.
