Caramel Cake Recipe (Homemade)!

Ingredients / for 6 people

°1 pot of yogurt

°2 jars of flour

°1/2 sachet of yeast

°2 jars of sugar

°1/2 jar of oil

°2 eggs


+For the salted butter caramel:

°200g sugar

°20 cl of full liquid cream

°100g butter

°1 pinch of fleur de sel


1Preheat the oven to 200°C. To make the salted butter caramel, begin by making a simple caramel with sugar and a small amount of water. Remove the pan from the heat once the caramelization has occurred. Mix in the butter and fleur de sel, then return to a low heat and add the entire liquid cream, mixing until the cream is smooth.
2Now it’s time to make the cake. In a salad dish, combine everything (yogurt, flour, yeast, sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla). Finally, add the salted butter caramel; you can use all of it or save some to serve with the yogurt cake.

In a greased pan, bake for 35 minutes.
