HOW I MAKE FRIED GREEN TOMATOES?

I sliced the tomatoes and placed them on a platter, lightly salting both sides to take out the moisture, and then waited 20 minutes.

After that, I soak up the water with a napkin.

I used 1 cup cornmeal, 1/2 cup flour, and 2 eggs in this recipe.

I dipped the tomatoes in ordinary flour first, then in the egg, and last in the flour/cornmeal combination before deep-frying them till golden brown.

Season the cornmeal mixture with salt and other spices to taste.
