how to make Garlic Butter Shrimp!

1 pound uncooked big shrimp, peeled and deveined

kosher salt (1/2 teaspoon)

1/4 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground

cayenne pepper, 1/8 teaspoon

3 tblsp. butter + 1 tblsp. canola oil, split

1 shallot, finely minced

1/2 cup dry white wine or chicken stock or broth with low sodium

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 lemon, tiny

1 tablespoon fresh rosemary or thyme, chopped, optional but very recommended!

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Place the shrimp in a large mixing bowl after patting them dry with paper towels. Salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to taste. Toss to evenly coat.

In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter with Canola Oil over medium heat until completely melted. Add the shallot and simmer for 1 to 2 minutes, or until it softens slightly. Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for 1 minute, stirring occasionally. Turn the shrimp over with tongs or a broad spatula. Combine the wine and garlic in a mixing bowl. Cook for another 2 to 3 minutes, or until the shrimp are no longer transparent and the wine has reduced by half.
