How to make Good Old Fashion Mac and Cheese!



• 3 cups dry elbow macaroni

• 4 Tbsp salted butter

• 2 (370 mL/12 oz) cans evaporated milk

• 1/3 cup milk of choice

• 2 large eggs

• 1/4 tsp garlic salt

• 4 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

• 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded

• 1 tsp paprika


1) Fill a big saucepan halfway with water and bring to a boil. Cook until the macaroni is al dente, adding salt as needed.

2) Return to the pot after draining.

3) Stir in the butter until it is completely melted. Remove from the equation.

4) In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly combine the evaporated milk, milk, eggs, and garlic salt.

5) Combine the cheeses in a separate bowl.

6) Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a 9×13 inch baking pan lightly with nonstick cooking spray.

7) Arrange 1/3 of the macaroni on the bottom, followed by 1/3 of the cheese.

8)Continue with the rest of the macaroni and cheese mixture.

9)Ladle the milk over the top. Evenly sprinkle the paprika on top.

10) Bake for 25-30 minutes in a preheated oven.
