You will need:
°2 to 3 pounds of lean beef tenderloin.
°2 fine green bell peppers, sliced.
°2 sliced onions.
°3 cups of beef broth.
°2 teaspoons garlic salt.
°2 teaspoons black pepper.
°1 envelope of dry Italian dressing mix.
°1 to 2 large loaves of French bread cut into sandwich lengths.
°Provolone cheese slices.
How to: Place thinly sliced steak, green pepper, onion, stock, garlic, salt, pepper, and seasoning mixture in slow cooker.
Cook for 7 to 8 hours on low or 3 to 4 hours on high, covered.
Sandwiches can be made using baguettes or bread and topped with cheese.
Bake for a few minutes on a baking sheet to melt the cheese and serve with sautéed mushrooms on top if desired.
