Preheat a large nonstick skillet or cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
After coating the ground beef with oil, add it to the pan. Stir for 3-5 minutes, or until the beef has reached your desired level of browning. Get rid of the majority of the fat that has built up.
For 2-3 minutes, or until the onions and bell peppers are transparent, stir in the onions and bell peppers.
Toss in the beef broth, ketchup, Worchester sauce, and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Combine cornstarch and a tablespoon of water in a cup; whisk together and add to the pan, stirring constantly until it thickens fast.
Within a few minutes, the mixture should be thick enough to start forming mounds.
Remove the pan from the heat and slowly stir in the cheese. In the meantime, start toasting the buns. Once the cheese has completely melted, spoon it onto the buns. Serve immediately and enjoy!
