1 1/8 cups all purpose flour (1 cup plus two tablespoons)
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter softened (1 stick)
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
1 cup sweetened coconut flakes (shredded coconut)
3/4 cup sliced almonds
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a small mixing dish. Remove from the equation.
Cream the butter and sugars together in a mixer. Mix in the vanilla and egg until just combined. Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture.
Combine chocolate chips, coconut flakes, and sliced almonds in a mixing bowl.
Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto parchment-lined cookie sheets using a 1 1/2 tablespoon cookie scoop. Preheat oven to 350°F and bake for 9-12 minutes.
Allow ten minutes for cooling before transferring to cookie cooling racks.
