Ingredients:
°1 sachet Yeast
°1 sachet vanilla sugar
°3 eggs
°8 pineapple rings (tin can)
°150g Sugar
°150g Flour
°150g Butter
Steps in the preparation process:
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Combine soft butter and sugar in a mixing bowl.
Adding the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition, then adding the sifted flour and baking powder.
Make the caramel in a frying pan or a cake pan (which must be heated). Allowing sugar to melt (without adding water or anything else) causes it to turn brown. Add pineapple slices when it almost fills the entire pan.
If there is any remaining pineapple, cut it up and mix it in with the batter.
Bake for 30 minutes after pouring the prior ingredients into the pan (or mold).
Allow it cool completely before soaking the cake in pineapple juice (the one from the box).
