Place a piece of butter in a frying pan and saute the onions with the minced meat over medium heat until the meat is done. If required, strain the fat.

Drain the potatoes and place them back in the saucepan, still hot, to dry them out.
Using a potato mound, mash in the second saucepan of butter (or a little more!) and milk. generously season
Place the beef mixture on the bottom of an ovenproof dish, the corn in the centre, and the mashed potatoes on top. Three distinct steps are required to be formed.
Bake for 30 minutes after topping with grated cheese.
