Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Brown the ground beef in a deep cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. While cooking, make sure to split it up into little pieces and stir constantly.
Before adding the other ingredients, drain off any excess fat.
Add the taco seasoning and tomatoes once the ground meat is cooked.
In a 9″ x 13″ baking dish, place half of the tortillas.
Top the tortilla with the ground beef mixture.
Spread the sauce over the top tortilla and top with the remaining chips, then sprinkle with cheese.
Bake for 20-30 minutes at 350°F, or until cheese has melted and bubbles have formed.
