How To Make It:
3 mangoes, cut into bite-size chunks
5 kiwi, sliced
1 pineapple, cut into bite-size chunks
2 cup strawberries, sliced
12 mandarin oranges, divided (for dressing and salad)
1/4 cup honey
Citrus Poppy Seed Dressing
1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds
1/2 teaspoon Gourmet Garden Ginger Paste or fresh grated ginger
1 medium lemon
Lemon, lime, and two mandarin oranges should all be washed and dried.
Using a zester or fine grater, zest the rinsed and dried citrus.
Fill a 1 cup measuring cup or a small basin halfway with water. Each one should be cut in half and the juice squeezed into a measuring cup. (About 1/2 cup juice should be obtained.)
Whisk together the honey, ginger, and poppy seeds in the juice mixture. If serving later, set away or place in the refrigerator.
Prepare the rest of the fruit. Strawberry and kiwi slices Divide the remaining oranges into sections.
Pineapple and mango should be cut into bite-size bits.
In a large mixing basin, combine the fruit. 30 minutes before serving, pour the dressing over the fruit.
Toss gently to coat.
