Ingredients:
▢1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
▢3 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
▢1 / 2 teaspoon of salt
▢1 / 4 cup sugar
▢1 1/4 cup whole milk
▢1 egg
▢3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
▢1 teaspoon of vanilla extract optional
directions:
Microwave the margarine for 30 seconds, then set it aside.
Combine flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder in a medium mixing basin.
Combine the milk and the egg in a blender.
Make a well in the center of the flour mixture.
Fill the well with the spread, vanilla, and milk mixture.
Use a rush to bind everything together as though it were one piece. It will be a little thick and irregular, but it should be nicely cemented.
Allow the batter to rest while a softly greased skillet or frying pan heats up to medium-high temperature.
Pour or scoop about 1/4 cup of the batter onto the iron for each flapjack.
Cook for 3-6 minutes on each side, or until finely caramelized.
Have fun!
